Anna Ewa Malinowska-Ek is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Finland. She draws inspiration from human anatomy, fashion, music, cinematography, architecture and nature. Her work explores the relationship between human shapes and nature, and features prominent colours. In her illustrations she often conveys messages about human rights, positive thinking and racism.
Born in Poland, Anna began drawing almost as soon as she first held a pencil. She started creating illustrations with traditional mediums like pencils. At the age of nineteen she moved all alone to Finland.
Trying to stabilise her life and economical situation drew her away from art for a time.
Anna began studying Fine Arts in 2018. She began drawing again, which led to her interest in digital art. In May 2021 she received her Bachelor of Culture and Arts.
